Designed for science majors and students with a strong science background who desire a more in-depth approach to biological topics. An introduction to the structures and functioning of ecological systems, including populations, communities and ecosystems. The impact of humans on the environment will also be discussed. Also includes a discussion of the principles of population genetics, evolution and speciation. Involves field activities and techniques of field work.
