BIOTECHNOLOGY LABORATORY INSTRUMENTATION

Lecture will discuss theory, applications, and operation of various analytical instruments with an emphasis on protein purification in an R&D pilot scale laboratory. Laboratory exercises will focus on quantitative and qualitative analyses by chromatography, centrifugation, spectrophotometry, immunochemistry and fluorescence.
