Open to BBA majors or by permission of the department. An analysis of the types of securities available in the market covering both individual and institutional portfolio analyses and management. Considers the formulation of appropriate portfolio investment objectives, techniques for achieving them, and institutional, legal, and other constraints on portfolio strategies. Impacts of macroeconomic and microeconomic activity on portfolio performance, and measures of performance are discussed.
