Study of fundamental biochemical concepts; emphasis is placed on protein, carbohydrate, and lipid structures as related to their functional behavior, enzyme kinetics and mechanisms of action; thermodynamic relationships in biochemical systems. (Offered Fall Semester.) Requires Graduate status.
