ORGANIC CHEMISTRY II – LECTURE

A continuation of CHEM 2323. Emphasis on the classes of aliphatic and aromatic compounds not previously discussed; spectroscopy; the use of instrumentation in organic chemistry; and introduction to the chemistry of carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, and natural products. Qualitative analysis included in the laboratory work.
