INTRODUCTION TO LIGHTING DESIGN

Focuses on the artistic and technical fundamentals of lighting design for the stage. Topics will include industry standard lighting paperwork, color, photometrics, and drafting. Daily classwork will integrate lecture, small group collaboration, and hands- on practical lab work. Regular attendance and student participation in all activities is vital for a successful outcome.
