A study of the literature of the British Romantic period, late eighteenth to early nineteenth century. Topics may include nature, consciousness, fantasy, revolution, sentiment, political reform, and poetic form, while writers may include Blake, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Byron, Hemans, Keats, Landon, Percy Shelley, Mary Shelley, Wollstonecraft, Edgeworth, de Quincey, Godwin, Hazlitt, and Rousseau.
