VT: Topics in Children’s Literature

A study of literature written for children, with such topics as the rise of children’s literature as a separate genre, changing visions of childhood, the relationship of text to image in illustrated books, and the various controversies that have arisen around children’s literature. May be repeated for credit if the topic is different.
