Topics include war, immigration, technology, race, imperialism, globalization, gender, sexuality, class, and the decade as an artifact of inquiry. Course texts may include a variety of literary and non-literary texts such as novels, verse, song lyrics, manifestos, comics, journalism, television, electronic literature, or video games
