Engineering Analysis and Simulation

The design and analysis of manufacturing systems using the latest methods and practices and the modeling of manufacturing systems using simulation software. Using simulation software to examine alternatives to existing manufacturing methods and systems. Software systems to be used could include ANSYS, CFD, 3d Modeling and Finite Element Analysis. Students will design individual parts of a manufacturing system, assemble them into a manufacturing process and analyze the results in software.
