Methods and Materials for Teaching Family

This course focuses on preparing the student for the student teaching experience. Major topics covered include: NYS and National Family and Consumer Sciences Learning Standards, instructional planning and effective teaching strategies for meeting the needs of diverse student populations, classroom management, and assessment.
