Geographic Information Systems

The study and application of concepts and technologies in geographic information systems and geographic information science including data conceptualization, database design and management, analysis operations, spatial problem solving, and professional system management. Analysis will be conducted in a commercial state-of-the-art Geographic Information Systems software suite. Three class periods; one 2-hour laboratory period per week.
