PRE-CALCULUS ALGEBRA

Mathematics Core. Preparatory course for calculus. This course emphasizes the algebra of functions – including polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions. In addition, the course covers non- linear inequalities as well as systems of linear and non-linear equations and inequalities. The course also includes an introduction to sequences and series. No credit is given to students with higher-numbered math course.
