Found & Framework for OT Practice w/ Lab

This course introduces the fundamentals of occupational therapy, including the history of the profession, philosophical base of OT, Code of Ethics, and Standards of Practice. Students will learn about various practice settings, state, national, and international professional organizations, theory/frames of reference, laws and legislation that guides healthcare and opportunities for advocacy, and define the distinct value of occupation.
