Introduction to Newton's Laws, gravitation, cosmology, conservation of energy, momentum and angular momentum, special relativity, and fluids using introductory calculus. Math at the level of MATH 1610 or higher is required as a prerequisite. Credit will not be given for both PHYS 1500 and PHYS 1600 or PHYS 1607.
