Peer Victimization in Film

Study of the experiences of victimization through theoretical perspectives and social cognitive neuroscience. Students will gain insight into the perpetrator's and victim's side of the peer victimization experience along the influence of family dynamics. Students will gain an appreciation for the complex relationship between social status, aggression, and peer victimization. Movies and short films are used to help illustrate concepts and enhance learning.
