CURRICULUM IN LITERACY FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

This course is designed to provide students with the understanding of language development, development of early literacy, and screening for early literacy deficits. This class will introduce language systems (orthography, phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics) and their role in the development of literacy.
