This course focuses on issues related to managing inventories in a supply chain. Topics include: role of inventory in supply chains, inventory-related policies and decisions, and dealing with supply and demand uncertainty. Issues related to safety stock and replenishment planning, impact of lead times, and management of multi-echelon supply chains are covered.
