Immigrant Communities in Queens

New York City’s status as a global city reflects, in part, its diverse and dynamic population. This course will focus on immigrant community formations in the borough of Queens, where racial and ethnic diversity is unparalleled. Students will examine the changing demographics and intercultural relations that mark multicultural Queens.
