An overview of personality development, human needs, common mental mechanics, and factors influencing mental health and mental illness. Includes common mental disorders and related therapy and application of clinical judgement. Course content includes the nursing process, clinical reasoning, and therapeutic communication techniques specific to the care of the patient with mental illness.
