LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Study of the importance of professional growth. Topics include the role of the licensed vocational nurse in the multi-disciplinary health care team, professional organizations, and continuing education. The course will also include content related to leadership and management and legal and ethical concepts affecting the practice of vocational nursing. This course is designed to prepare the student for licensure, employment, and lifelong learning.
