  • Emergency response coordination — respond to escape or disturbance alerts by executing assigned response roles and notifying chain of command in real time.
  • Incident documentation — prepare detailed incident reports using word processing and spreadsheet software following non-routine events on the unit.
  • Inmate communication — apply speaking and social perceptiveness skills to de-escalate minor conflicts among inmates before escalation is required.
