The Engineering Physics major is a program in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Area of Study. Students demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of the major subfields of physics (mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, quantum mechanics and thermodynamics) and apply physical and mathematical principles to analyze and solve real-world engineering problems. Engineering Physics majors may not minor in Physics.
