The ACPA offers the only nationally recognized safety certification program for concrete pump operators. We've certified over 5,000 concrete pump operators nationwide, to help them achieve the highest degree of professionalism - and to maintain the strictest standards for safety. Certification Benefits Point-by-point exams ensure that operators are fully knowledgeable of safety in all aspects of their jobs. Certification has been shown to improve safety, decrease accident rates in the workplace, and has become a critical standard for customers looking for reliable, high-quality pumping contractors. Recertification keeps operators focused on correct practices and complete safety procedures. Certification Requirements As of January 1, 2022 - As a prerequisite for ACPA Operator Certification, an operator must complete the 5.0 Operator Safety Training Presentation, which can be fulfilled in one of three ways: Complete the Safety Training Presentation Course online at ACPA University Instruction from an ACPA Authorized Training Administrator Attend a “live” ACPA Operator Safety Seminar Once the education requirement is met, the operator has the option of taking the written version of the Certification Test, or the online version. Please note: The 4.01 ACPA Operator Safety Training video will no longer fulfill the education requirement for ACPA Certification. Certification Discount Certification is available at a 60% discount for ACPA members. Please view the Certification Procedure for details on pricing.
