The certificate program in medical nutrition enables working health care professionals to acquire practical nutrition knowledge that can be immediately implemented in practice. Students learn to discuss diet therapies, supplement use and nutritional concepts with their patients and clients. Students also gain in-depth knowledge of evidence-based nutrition research and the role of nutrition in managing chronic disease.
