Detailed information about this program
The Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) course offers in-depth instruction on the theoretical and practical aspects of managing corrosion beneath insulation on carbon steel, low-alloy, and stainless-steel equipment. You'll learn what CUI is and why it occurs, how insulation components and protective coatings affect CUI risk, design practices to minimize CUI, insulation selection considerations, inspection strategies with and without insulation removal, and how to integrate risk-based inspection methods into your corrosion-control programs. Your purchase includes both the course and the certification exam fee, with the exam administered remotely via a proctoring platform once you complete the training. Prerequisite There are no prerequisites to attend this course; however, completion of the Basic Corrosion Course and Basic Coatings Inspector Certification (CIP 1) is highly recommended.
