The mission of the Equestrian Studies Department is to provide an educational program leading to a bachelor's degree which is recognized in the equine industry for its quality and which prepares students to fill a variety of positions within the equestrian fields. Majors choose an area of concentration such as Equine Management, Teaching and Training, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, or Equine Science.
