The goal of the Health Science major is to develop a fundamental understanding of the physical, psychological, and biochemical aspects of human health. This major is appropriate for students planning to enter programs in a variety of health-related professions, such as physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapist assistant, public health, and careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine.
