The School of Engineering offers the Engineering A.B. degree to enable students to combine a rigorous and interdisciplinary foundation in engineering with the diverse opportunities provided by Brown's liberal arts curriculum. With only 11 required courses, it has the greatest flexibility of all of the School's undergraduate degree programs. The A.B. degree program is not accredited by ABET.
