The Warren Alpert Medical School curriculum is designed as an integrated, contemporary, compassionate, and flexible program of learning. During Years 1 and 2 students enroll in four sequential semesters of Integrated Medical Sciences and Doctoring; Year 3 consists of required clerkships in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and family medicine, followed by a fourth year of elective rotations.
