This course provides information to assist individuals and families in making informed purchasing decisions and presents the skills needed for careers in consumer sciences and consumer advocacy. Career and Technical Student Organizations are integral, co-curricular components of each career and technical education course. These organizations enhance classroom instruction while helping students develop leadership abilities, expand workplace-readiness skills, and access opportunities for personal and professional growth. Students in the Human Services cluster affiliate with Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
