Family Financial Planning introduces students to the fundamentals of personal and family finance, asset protection, and financial services through the life cycle. Topics include financial planning, consumer credit, emerging technologies, consumer debt, consumer insurance, global markets, and sustainability. This course is designed to help students develop the skills necessary to be informed consumers and prepare for their financial future, including the creation of a personal financial plan.

Family Financial Planning introduces students to the fundamentals of personal and family finance, asset protection, and financial services through the life cycle. Topics include financial planning, consumer credit, emerging technologies, consumer debt, consumer insurance, global markets, and sustainability. This course is designed to help students develop the skills necessary to be informed consumers and prepare for their financial future, including the creation of a personal financial plan. Career and Technical Student Organizations are integral, co-curricular components of each career and technical education course. These organizations enhance classroom instruction while helping students develop leadership abilities, expand workplace-readiness skills, and access opportunities for personal and professional growth. Students in the Human Services cluster affiliate with Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
