Technical Theatre II extends the content of technical Theatre I by providing students with opportunities to create and apply the technical aspects of theatre which establish the place, time, and mood of the production. Topics covered are stage management, set construction, rigging, audio, lighting, digital set pieces, set striking, properties, costuming, and sound. Career and Technical Student Organizations are integral, co-curricular components of each career and technical education course. These organizations enhance classroom instruction while helping students develop leadership abilities, expand workplace-readiness skills, and access opportunities for personal and professional growth. Students in the Arts, A-V Technology, and Communications cluster affiliate with SkillsUSA.
