Women's and Gender Studies

The women's and gender studies major offers students the opportunity for the interdisciplinary study of women, transgender, and gender diverse individuals' contributions to society and women's experience in diverse cultures, polities, and historical periods. Students analyze critically the representations and voices of these individuals in literature, arts, religious and philosophical traditions, social and political theory, and the sciences.
