Medical Assisting Program

The Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to perform both administrative and clinical tasks that assist physicians in various areas of medical practice. The responsibilities of medical assistants can range from administrative functions to clinical care and patient treatment. Students will learn to take and record medical histories and vital signs, administer medications, sterilize instruments, assist with minor office procedures, and manage patient emergencies.
