The Teacher Preparation Program offers the Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (BAEd), which requires successful completion of the courses required for a Commonwealth of Virginia PreK-6 Elementary teaching license. The program prepares students with the clinical and pedagogical knowledge, skills, and professional abilities to meet the needs of diverse learners in schools and districts across the Commonwealth, and includes a field-based internship in a public or accredited school.
