Educational Studies majors analyze the ways in which varying historical, philosophical, and cultural contexts and student identity characteristics influence educational experiences, opportunities, and outcomes. Students critique educational policies and explain the interconnections between educational institutions and the political, economic, and social systems in which they are situated. The major consists of 10 courses. The degree requires 32 courses (not semester credit hours).
