Students who earn a food studies certificate describe change and continuity in food systems and food culture, analyze food systems and food culture from multiple disciplines and diverse perspectives across time and place, and articulate the challenges the world faces with respect to food. Certification requires FDST 201 and 401 plus four electives from at least three departments.
