Environmental Science

The Environmental Science major emphasizes appropriate skills and experiences for science-oriented careers and graduate study. Students take core courses in biology and chemistry, environmental science courses, and electives offered in other majors, completing the curriculum with the ESS capstone seminar. The major is designed with considerable flexibility so students may pursue interests such as research, environmental law, non-profit work, consulting, and state or federal agency work.
