The English and Writing Program offers two tracks, one for English and Writing majors and the other for students pursuing majors in both English/Writing and Secondary Education. Students develop thoughts and ideas into high quality creative or critical writing, develop a clear and compelling thesis, and build strategies for close reading and sustained textual interpretation.
