The objective of this certificate/minor is to expose interested candidates to the growing sector of esports and competitive gaming and to provide career pathways to the industry. Students identify career paths and business models within esports, analyze ethical, legal and HR issues, learn to plan esports events while satisfying stakeholders, and study the basics of game design. The program requires 15 credits of required courses.
