The Automotive Mechanics Certificate is a 48-credit-hour program preparing students for successful employment or advancement as automotive technicians. Students master automotive technology fundamentals, electrical systems, braking, suspension and steering, engines, drive trains, air conditioning, electrical/electronic systems, advanced electrical, advanced engines, manual and automatic transmissions, engine performance, and automotive emissions.
