The Building Construction Short Certificate is a 29-credit-hour program covering basic construction tools and materials, print reading, roof and ceiling framing, floor and wall framing, concrete applications, construction materials and methods, and safety. Students choose 9 additional credit hours from courses including measurements, finishes, codes, decks and patios, surveying, and management. Prepares graduates for entry-level construction careers.
