The Medium/Heavy Truck Technician AOT degree (73 credit hours) prepares students to diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs to medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Builds on the certificate with general studies and a minor in Business or Automotive Mechanics. Coursework includes basic and advanced engines, preventive maintenance, equipment safety/mechanical fundamentals, heavy vehicle brakes, drive trains, electrical/electronic fundamentals, steering and suspension, CDL test prep.
