Zoology
Mars Hill University
The Zoology major is designed to prepare students for a career in the study and care of animals. The major emphasizes anatomy, physiology, behavior, and evolutionary relationships of organisms across a wide range of biological groups. Students will gain hands-on experience working with live organisms, identification of organisms, preparation of museum-quality specimens, and designing experiments to investigate organismal biology.
