The Teacher Education programs prepare students to become dynamic, engaging teachers who have a commitment to teaching all children. The Methodist University Teacher Education Program is accredited by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to provide programs of study for licenses in Elementary Education (K-6), Middle Grades Education (6-9) in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, Physical Education and Health Education (K-12), and School Social Work.
