National Association for Legal Support Professionals (NALS)
The CLP is the designation for lawyer's assistants who want to be identified as exceptional. Certification is achieved after passing a four part exam covering communications, office procedures and knowledge, legal ethics, and substantive law. Passing the exam demonstrates not only dedication to professionalism but acceptance of the challenge to be exceptional.
