NC3 and Greenlee advance students into powered bending equipment. Course content includes Utilizing the 555C Electric Conduit Bender for 90, Offset, and Saddle Bends; Utilizing the 880 Hydraulic Bender, 980 Pump, and 1802 Bending Table; and PVC Blanket and Heater Safety and Use. Students demonstrate safe operation and maintenance of the industry's standard electric and hydraulic powered conduit benders, apply bending theory to lay out concentric and multi-shot bends, and learn to maintain and operate a PVC heater to bend PVC conduit.
