The Tormach CNC Fundamentals Certification gives individuals the chance to use a desktop unit providing a foundation for larger CNC machines. The training covers understanding CNC machining and how it works, applying safety standards, setting up an xsTECH router, securing material in build areas, inserting tooling, zeroing the tooling and workspace, reading a dial caliper/measuring, using PathPilot's conversational programming software and functions, learning and importing CAM files into PathPilot, understanding G & M codes, and implementing the xsTECH router for best practices and maximizing efficiency. Students receive Tormach-validated NC3 certifications as proof of skills achievement and gain access to excellent employment opportunities as a Certified Tormach/Palmer Hamilton machinist.
