Due to advancements in technology, today radiation is used to produce images of the body internally and to treat cancer. Special modalities such as Mammography, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, and Computed Tomography (CT) are growing rapidly.
